Omaha like Hold'em is a very interesting kind of poker. I do not play it only because I originally studied Hold'em. I'm not sure which game to make more profitable, but professionals often choose Omaha rather than Hold'em

Don't get me wrong... I love Holdem,but there's Something about PLO8 that just does something for me on a whole nother level!! I wish they made PLO8 knockout tournaments more frequent..

I am an omaha junkie I love omaha. PLO and NL08 are my favorite formats.
Unfortunately holdem is where the money is at Omaha prize pools pale in comparison to holdem.

If you use Pokerstars you can try them out using play money. While it takes a while to get used to Omaha, but it is far more enjoyable in my opinion.

I have recently started playing Omaha Hi/Lo, which again adds a bit more challenge to the game. Now I've got the hang of how it works and the strategy I've started winning a bit more, so this might be something else to try after getting the hang of Omaha

I prefer Omaha HI / Lo, knowing how to manage the pre flop and entering only with a strong hand makes it easier to take the pot, in my opinion, of course.

PLO8 holds my interest longer.

Love to win with full houses ans straights rather than ace high or top pair.

To be honest I don't understand the fixation with NLHE.

I love both varieties but if I want any real chance of being profitable it would have to be holdem. I need to get some good time in before I even think to consider myself good at Omaha.

personally I like less omaha but if it is profitable because the majority of players are more aggressive but dunk way and there are no special players in this mode so if you do you will have a large advantage
