I think that treating a woman differently at the table is a bad idea. Asking her personal questions, paying compliments, and buying a drink? Why would anyone do this? You're there to play cards not to find a date. And if you're trying to get information about her and how she plays, remember that you're giving up information about your personality too.

If an attractive woman wants to flirt with me at the table, then she's just trying to get under my skin. I'm there to win.

I have played against several women throughout my card playing career. I find them just as tenacious, engaging, and just as ruthless as many of my male counterparts; less the ego and machismo.

At the end of the day, the best hand wins ... who cares what sex the holder of the hand is.
