How do you concentrate when playing poker?

This is not a problem for me. I only play poker for 2-3 hours a day, so I can easily stay focused during that time.

Well ... it is very important to always be very focused ... and one of the techniques I learned in order not to lose concentration is to know that even if you do not have direct action in a hand ... you must be attentive to the movements of your opponents ... that will help keep you focused and also have a better reading of your opponents ...!

I concentrate listening to quiet music, but if an important distribution starts, I turn everything off and sit in silence.

I lessen the number of tables I play. Sometimes it is possible. Like when I got cash games in paralell. Or when there is a reasonable opportunity to play All-in.

When I fold pre-flop, I only pay 50% of my attention. To understand my opponents moves I need to concentrate more, but 50% is the sweet spot to keep my mind fresh.

Hi all!

Being energetic, having rested, wanting to play, being really free to face poker hands, enjoying the game. When there is a predisposition, concentration is taken for granted, on the other hand when conditions are not favorable I have to fight a bit to obtain it.

Live, I either want to be there or not, the focus is there. I believe invested in figuring the people out over the cards, and until i can do that cards help a ton.

Online, anything for light noise. nothing towards sporting events or movie. Just a light music feed or comedy.

My biggest problem is I don't concentrate enough.

What I have found to help me is play poker video's in the background. I guess my mind will not just be hearing the banter but will keep focused on poker. No sure why it works.

If I'm having trouble concentrating, then should be doing something else. Always information at the table to keep the mind in the game. When that can't be achieved, time to move on.
