As a recently-turned professional poker player I’ve been thinking about how strange it is to do what I do for a living. Each player at my table essentially pays me to play card games against them (I average about 10BB/100 at £2/5, or about £15-30 an hour). Do any other players have a way to conceptualise what they do for a living?
