How do you deal with players who slow roll?

I recently played a handout where a player slo-rolled me with Nazi cards, and to be honest, it tipped me off more than I expected. I know technically it's allowed, but it looks disrespectful. Do you think slo-roll is justified? Should this be considered bad etiquette regardless of the context? I wonder how others deal with this emotionally and strategically.

It's not a fact that he slowrolled, maybe he has a lot of tables open. But if so, try not to pay attention to it.

Slow-rolling is okay as long as it's not every hand for hours on end. I once played with a guy who did that from the very beginning of every tournament - it was frustrating to say the least.

I honestly don't like these players, but:
A long pause could be part of a bluff. Your opponent is trying to make you feel like he's in his hand.
On the other hand, a strong hand can also keep thinking, especially if the situation is difficult.

I see constant disrespect every day in many tournaments as players laugh when I lose. It's called gloating. So your situation is hard for me to call disrespect. Slowroll in online poker with “AA” is a show of dominance, not disrespect. Your opponent wanted you to remember the moment when he was at the pinnacle of success, too.

Yeah the person might have been multi-tabling and just took time to get round to the table you're on. If you lost the hand don't even worry about slow-roll or not as it means nothing, really

Playing live I see it sometimes. It used to bother me but now I just laugh at it. Don’t get too caught up in getting slow rolled, people either do it because they think it’s funny or they are just outright trying to piss you off and tilt you. So don’t fall for the bait, just laugh and don’t let anything bother you when playing. Remember we can only control two things at the table, are temperament and how we play are cards. Everything else we can’t control so don’t let it bother you. Have fun and good luck!

Nah, after long thoughts, I think it is the snowmen 88.

Take the number count and start from A in the alphabet and you get H. So you get HH which stands for short form of a Nazi greeting.

I try to remember the player that slowrolled and be prepared for it next time I face the same player or a similar situation with another player.

Slow roll is part of poker, still- delaying the game with the winning hand just wastes everyone's time... it is what it is... I'm only doing it sometimes at my home games with friends and it's just to have some fun

You shouldn't let this kind of situations affect your performance at the tables(throwables/ emojis etc. can be annoying too); if it does affect you often, than you might need to improve your mental poker game(I recommend the 2 books- The Mental Game of Poker by Jared Tendler to improve this part of your game).

I am neutral about such situations. I don't think it's good or bad. I believe that everyone can play as they see fit within the rules. As for etiquette, it's a secondary issue, I think etiquette will never play a leading role in online games

I find that when i try an commit a slow roll, against an overly aggressive player or somebody who has been bluffing a lot that the flop and river always seem to punish me more, like getting it all in pre and having the second nut flush on the flop, against a weak AX to see the river giving the aggressor the nuts

Slowrolling is part of the game of poker. If it were forbidden, no one would do it. I don't slowroll, but I don't mind being slowrolled. Sometimes someone slowrolls because their opponent was too bold and aggressive before the flop. This would be a way of reciprocating the initial provocation.
