How Do You Handle Bad Beats and "Tilting"?

I agree. I like to think that I deal with tilt quite well, I can shrug bad beats off easily. However when it's bad beat after bad beat after bad beat for 40 minutes straight of course it affects me like it would anyone, but all I need to do it take a break and then return with a fresh mind free of tilt!

It is very dangerous situation. You can loss all your money.

I am in tilt 24/24 hahaha .. joking . I think this is the problem at my game, the constantly tilt. WHen i will handle this situation i will start playing a lot better.

In live poker I handle bad beats very well and they don't really bother me that much or for that long. But in online poker I yell and swear at my computer and break things. I broken my phone, multiple keyboards, a mouse and other things that were in reach and I've thrown into the wall. The biggest thing that I've broke is my laptop, I don't play poker on my new one

Jesus it's not worth all of that. Just recognize bad beats will happen as part of the game. I take multiple river beats everyday online which never happens live I must say. Here is 2 river beats I took yesterday alone in the same game. Was I mad hell yeah. Do I expect it all the time now online yes....

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble who supports online poker but it hasn't been the same since the Black Friday shutdown of Pokerstars and Full tilt. I can play flawless poker and I'm lucky to make $9 per hour. I go over to Dover Delaware Casino I make over $200 per hr. I have been playing since I was 16 years old and I'm now 38. Online Poker just isn't the same regardless of what level your playing. Either that or I'm just cursed. Lol my brother is also a CC member and he sends me BB pics day in and day out. I have always hated the word rigged or juiced for action when referring to online play but when you get your butt killed daily by 2 outers and runner runners you see coming you got to question why me?

I don't think there's anything as frustrating in poker as someone landing a miraculous draw on the river. Especially when they've committed heavily to something that was so unlikely and been rewarded for their bad decision.

It really riles me like. You make the sound play, you play the hand right, and lose the hand to a complete fluke in the dark. Irritating.

I know i cant handle losses and tilting, i always play higher trying to recover what ive lost and in the process lose more. So ive stopped playing.

I dont think anyone can honestly say that they dont get bothered by bad beats. Knowing you made the right call always reassuring but getting knocked out after hours of play sucks. I usually take a little break then jump right back in Its easy to get past them once you have a good win.

I am handle just fine,but delaer dont think i do,because,after bad beat,he think i am tilting and give me more reason to tilting,but really i am just fine,but these bad beats are just going on and on on on .,..........Than i go on play money and harass all that fine people.

My straight on the river received a terrible blow. Out of my mouth popped a lot of swear words. The cigarette was smoked a couple of bongs. But this is a game and nothing can be done. I washed in the shower and went to breathe the fresh air on nature. There is still a lot of games and to only focus on one makes no sense. On the picturesque scenery the person quickly recovers.
