What will you do when to quit playing poker?
There are already some plans and ideas? Business? Or will not play until retirement? I ask all members Cardschat to talk about their thoughts on this topic

I can't imagine quitting. Retirement from regular work is just an opportunity to play more poker, and senior event participation will likely continue to boom. I do get bored doing the same thing though, and am always looking for other ways to gamble profitably with relatively small amounts.

I'd consider some kind of business opportunity, but it would need to be fun. Managing a poker bankroll sounds fun to me.

I think there is no quitting in poker. You might lower your betting standards but I don't think you could actually quit unless you just do this for a living and not for fun.

I play poker as a hobby for fun & of course the money.If poker ever gets where I do not like it then I would just simply stop playing it and put more time into another hobby.As of right now I still Love this game.

Ask yourself how are you going to start treating poker as a career firsthand. Sit down think this shit out for real, how many hours can you commit to playing per day, how many hours per month must be reached, anything over this amount is considered overtime and can be used to take days off an so on. Stop thinking in terms of how much am I down or how much I'm ahead instead, think by how much volume/hours you put in and once you hit your mark clock out for the day enjoy life, poker is a marathon not a sprint you will burn out and go insane if you treat it as such. I treat this game as a part time job I put 2 hours a day in and stud 1 hour for every 4 hours I play so, hope this helps someone.

I seriously doubt I'll ever completely quit. I've had times when I've stopped for a little while but I always come back to the game. There's nothing quite like it, is there?
