How easy you make money in poker?

I try hard this time but too difficult to win, bad mood now. Just tell me the easiest win you have ever had? Thank you for bumping my energy

It is not easy at all. It requires a lot of passion, study, concentration and luck is on your side, this last variable does not depend on you. I only play freeroll, in this area there is nothing easy, you play many times against 20,000 players. I don't remember gaining anything with little effort

I have made more money at pokerstars with sports betting than playing poker. Also playing freeroll is not going to win a lot of money.
And to start playing micro-limit tournaments where we can start making money, patience, study and dedication are needed.

Hi.
I did not have easy victories. All my victories I got thanks to my patience and good concentration. Obviously, maintaining patience and concentration is not an easy task.

Keep patience is so hard and lucky not often occur. Keep playing, right?

Eventually I learned to enjoy the correct moves, which is perhaps more important to me than money. Then the prize comes by itself. Easy that way for me.

I am very curious if people really make money from it. I think the big winners are the poker sites.:angel:

An easy poker win is when you just get lucky, yesterday I won with a pair of pocket fours, two pocket aces.

hey, I don't think it's easy, there's a lot to know, learn, study, improve, practice and go back to study, improve, learn and so on, at least it's costing me a lot anyway, don't lose heart or faith, you have to work hard to achieve it.

I make money from the game I average somewhere between £80-£120 a night and this is going to improve with moving up stakes soon and more coaching and improving.

I have never really found it hard to make money from the game. what I have found difficult is getting to the point where i can be making enough money from poker to live on. I am currently at that stage.

However with all the changes happening in the industry at the moment especially in the uk it seems a bad idea to quit work completely outright. unless I was making a lot more then I can working.

I am currently on furlough. which means I am paid for staying at home doing **** all. which means I can play poker full time and also get salary from work great spot to be in. I really want to get to the point where I can make a proper difference to my life eg enough winnings to buy a house.

Ideally I would want to get to the point where I never have to work ever again. however I think this is unrealistic or would be very very difficult. in order to get to that point I would need to make £1,500,000 which I am guessing is aprox $2million

to do that in a year or two would require literally been of the best in the world or getting very lucky.

I believe with hard work and further study though I could up my win rate to say £300 a day. which would be just shy of £100,000 a year. If I could do that within a year I could put a significant deposit down on a house and the next year have either cleared the morgtage or nearly cleared it. aiming to own a property outright within 3 years is my goal. It will be very difficult and require a lot of work from me. However I believe that this can be achievable.

It is some kind of difficult to win, but it happens. Just be pacience. Statistics say to win a 1000 field tournament you have to play it 1000 times I think it's much harder to keep the winnings and not lose them on higher stakes.

All of the crap what I usually throw about online poker, winning etc. generally, behind my patiance. But hard to handle the 'all of the crap' part for days, weeks, earlier or later you run out from patiance.

And it never was easy to win, especially that I play tourneys.

The easiest for me, countless times the micro 1 or 2$ hyper or turbo tourneys, most of the players - including me - do not really play it correctly, plenty fun players, as it is pretty fast, does not take 10-12 hours etc. For me definitely, those are the easiest winnings, usually few hours, and I can even bring out 50% wins from the heads-ups, where I am pretty bad anyway. Not big money, but pretty easy, even there are the most headache, because of the lost pre-flop allins with 80-85% pre-flop chance for me.

Winning at poker isn't easy, at first. There's a lot of good advice here at the forum and chances to win a little scratch. Keep grinding away, build up a roll, and losing will become easier, as well. What I mean is it doesn't bother me as much when I lose, now, because winning $ is imminent. Having fun playing poker and making right decisions helps to ease losses. Once I realized that it was much easier to play and ultimately win more than I lose.

yeah this is where a lot of people go wrong. if you play big fields exclusively you can have losing years even if your a strong winner just because of variance.

I find the best thing to do is to play a mix have some big field mtts to allow for nice scores but also play smaller fields where the field is like 20-50 with large volume if your a profitable player you will make a consistent income from the game.

I think also a lot of people make it much harder for themselves by the way they apply themselves. Like if I was to target cash games on pokerstars where the standard is highest I would likely really be struggling to break even or make a decent wage.

game selection is important. whenever I play sit and goes or tournaments I do a lot of initial sharkscoping. if I am playing single table sngs on a particular site I will start by playing less tables to begin with and literally sharkscoping everyone. this lets me know how reg infested the game is thus how beatable it might be.

when I prepare to move up stakes in mtts again I do a lot of sharkscoping to gage an idea of what standard I am up against. Make no mistake about it if your going to ever make a lot of money from poker your likely going to have to eventually play fields that are heavily reg infested. However that is not what you need to do at the start and you can get a living wage playing weak players.

after that you can get coaching and study and have a bankroll to play in games with decent players.

earning money was never easy, have enough dedication that you will reach values

Friend, nothing in this world is easy. Poker is easy to lose money. But if you want to make your game profitable understand: Poker is patience, discipline, mathematics and psychology.
Patience - To know how to wait to play
Discipline - To know the folding time.
Mathematics - To understand the strength of your hand.
Psychology - To put terror on opponents.

The better you master these four pillars the more profitable your Poker will be.

easiest mtt ever was where i was actively playing video games and not paying any attention to the hands being played w/o me in them. i managed to crack aces a few times and just get the sickest run outs. made it all the way to final table and busted 7th?

I survive, rake makes it hard to profit

For me its not so easy but i do in 2 or 3 site......i dont think i will leave my job for poker but for me playong poker its a game i play when i have time
