About as fast as one can place a sports bet

. Thankfully there all small bets(poker winnings pay for them) just to make Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings a bit more interesting. I like 4-7 game/bet parleys. Regrets ZERO.

When it comes to poker I regret no MTT buy-in or playing cash.

well, there is kind of a limit. MTT's are only big and so often! i guess you could get wild with spin and go and cash games if you really wanted to punt. I feel like you are likely already punting if you are focuses on spin and go and cash games.

About 1000 dollars investing in internet about 20 years ago,it had gone good for years they showed me at the bank,but as soon as I got in ,it collapsed,I managed to save most of my money.

I lose hundreds, sometimes thousands a day in the stock market. Thankfully I usually get it back within a day or two

, but not always.

Do I regret it? Sometimes yes, but I'm in it for the long term.

Fortunately, I am quite prudent when it comes to money; I never get involved in places where losing money would hurt me. So, I would say I lose money slowly, mostly playing roulette with friends.

Most ive lost in a quick period of time was about 2k in 3 hours at a Casino.

Is that... supposed to be a lot? In the 5-10 games I know, the average of what changes owner in a single hand might be 100$. Not unusual to see hands with 500$ or more. Or did you mean 2000$?

Once I lost $50 in a cash game, and for a week I blamed myself and the alcohol that was inside me that unfortunate evening. I learned from this unfortunate incident and no longer play cash games and don't play poker drunk in general.

Went out of a $65 dollar tournament in Vegas on the 2nd hand (to the cursed AQ), then went across the road and won $400. (That took longer than 2 hands though)

im pretty sure if you play at a casino and playing roulette, you can bet it all in one hand.
if you are talking poker, thats a different ball game. think it would take longer to lose big if you are a good player, not so long if you do not know what you are doing.

The most I’ve lost was when I invested in a very risky company just before their quarterly earnings announcement. After disappointing news, the stock dropped 20%, and I lost way more than I could afford. I’ve also lost my poker bankroll multiple times, but that investment hit harder.

50 dollars was my biggest total loss in the first year of playing poker. After these losses, the profits started. The profits were very modest - 10-20 dollars a month, but for me it was a huge achievement and a turning point that allowed me to understand that poker can be a source of income.

Yes stocks can be scary roller coaster !! I try to stay out of them but they can become more addicting than poker what I found out
