I used to play when I was a kid for fun in the early 80's but I started to play the game more seriously in 2003. I took it up for fun and relaxation. OK the relaxation is not there but the fun sure as hell is. I love this freaking game.

Been playing online off and on since the beginning or pretty close to it. Took a long break with work and family but been playing more again the last few years. I tend to get bored after a while and take months long breaks.

I played for the first time around 11 or 12 years ago during the poker boom befor black friday. At that time though i did not bother to learn anything and quickly lost interest. Around 3 years ago i returned and now try to improve my game and play properly.

Many Years

I started playing playing poker online 17 years ago at Party Poker. From there I probably had every poker site downloaded I could find. That was a lot of sites, and at that time poker sites were giving away $50 or better just to download and play. But I was such a bad player, that I run through that money real quick and started depositing. That's when the trouble started within my family. Fifty nine years ago I was allowed to play penny-ante with my parents' in their weekend game. But I'd learned the game by watching them for a couple of years, but they wouldn't let me play. Then it happened! Two players didn't show, and I was in!!
