How long did it take for you to beat the micros?

ive been playing online since it started in 97 or 98 lol and the micros are tougher to beat now than ever i think. at every table you have 2 or 3 trying to build a br that actually know how to play. i may be wrong and it may be that i play tighter at the .50 1.00 level than at the .05 .10 but i think the half and dollar is easier than the micros.

I think that you may be playing uphill, so many of the people playing at cash table and single table tournaments are using poker tracking software. If you are getting beat and it seems amazing the call they win with you are playing someone using the stuff.

I think that the way poker has just jumped up virtually out of nowhere, its went from being relatively obscure to just about everywhere. Texas holdem in particular has just blew into a world phenom. No matter where you go even in rural and poor areas they are playing it and talking about it. Needless to say the more people that is out playing it now makes the odds definately not in your favor and the building of a bank roll even at any limit a definate uphill battle

The micro's are strange little games.
I'm not sure if they are good players or they just don't care about the buy in amount.
Seems to be tougher than the bigger games. donk fests i call the micro's.
When they play bigger stakes they tend to be catious making for a good game. Which is where i prefer to play.
Good luck in all games be it live or computerized.

Well..... i beat the micros and moved up after 3 years.... then i blew all my money and I AM BACK TO MICROS!!!! haha... dang it... i always said if i had 1000 dollars i would play micros only... but i didnt...

I got close to 50nl...which would be out of the micro limits, but started playing mtts again cus somehow i was making more money at that time playing the 180 mans....I am currently starting over soon although lets hope this echeck stuff works out

$.10 cent tourney on PS

I just finished playing in the ten cent tourney on PS. Finished 87th and won 60 something cents.

Went all in with poket KKs and got sucked out by a pair of pocket 33s. The third three came on the River, of couse.
