How to maintain concentration ?

I usually listen to music as well, harder to maintain the concentraion is to maintain the patience. Even more when you have those sick players throwing All In all the time in the Pre Flop.

Make notes
This is a simple way to stay focused on the task in hand. Keeping track of anything from your opponents' starting hands and where they play them from, to whether they limp in a lot or always come in with a raise will all help you in the long run.

Don’t focus on all of your opponents at once. Your head will be in a spin and you’ll have far too much to think about. Start off by concentrating on two players. Do they always raise you or do they vigorously defend their blind? Once this becomes an automatic process, add another factor to your focus of attention – but not until then. It’ll take time to achieve this, but if you work at it your concentration will improve and you'll eventually be able to process enough information about all of your opponents to make you a winning poker player.

Music helps , but i usually study while i play ,so poker can never make me feel more bored then studying

I think music helps, at least for me. I keep paying attention at the game and I don't care about what is happening in the background.

I can play much well poker when alone and quiet. I can't play poker whilst talking to friends. Music is good meanwhile

The xx - intro 4 hour for focus.
Keep spectating and making notes during cold runs to keep yourself busy.
Generally try to avoid distractions (FB, phone, etc.) Easier said than done.

I play for money. Money is a good motivator for me. 😛 But seriously I track all my stats and am always trying to better myself. I also have bills that need paying and whatnot. If I start to feel I'm losing my edge I simply log off for the day. Seems to work pretty well.

Keep the door closed room, have stock of food / drink and silence to keep the attention on my opponents.
