my average grind is being about 8 hrs,is that average.

I did 4, 10 hour sessions this week so far will get at least that today. Mostly because I was a degenerate a couple days after a sick run.I always try to get at least 40 hrs a week in.

It all depends on the duration of the tournament or until I run out of chips. I start playing in the evening and play until midnight usually.

Because I play only recreationally, and I dont chase any goal, I play how long I want to play

And also because I play mostly tournaments, it depends how I am doing in those tournaments

If I run good, than its longer, If I dont, then, well....

I usually play all day, but when I realize that I'm on tilt I leave the game to not lose chips. You have to know your time to stop when you're in tilt, it's an essential rule, it's no use playing when you're like this, hang out a bit, cool your head and continue later.

If you will play too long,especially without a breaks, you will loose your concentration and loose money. You need to have at least a 5-10 minutes breaks during sessions. Also i think that 5-6 hours session is a maximum for one day.

I play almost exclusively MTT's so the amount o time I play will be very different from someone who grinds at the cash tables. I like the trnies with 10 to 15 minute blinds so I usually play for anywhere between 3 to 6 or 7 hours.
