I think you already answered your question. It all comes down to one's schedule.
A recreational player, one who has a job other than playing poker cannot be able to compete with a pro who has a set schedule to play. Some, if not all the pros, play at least 8 hours a day, 6 days.

I work a lot too, 10 to 12 hours every day, but I still find 3-4 hours to play after work, although sometimes it's hard and on those days I just take a break.

Max 1 tournament daily, about 6 hours. Extra poker is a dependence.

If I don't have anything to do and I have a free day, I can play all day, sometimes I play at night, but if I wake up early, then the day is hard. It all depends on work and my schedule.

There are days when I also work for 10-12 hours and on such days I just don't have the energy to play poker. I play only on days when I don't have much work, and of course, on weekends as well.

I actually like turbo games since they dont last that long. After about 6 hours I cannot continue playing optimally

I find it comfortable to play from 9 PM to 1 AM, sticking to this schedule about three days a week. Whenever I try to play four or five days in a row, I notice a significant drop in both my game quality and overall rest. Work and family are my main priorities, so for me, poker remains just a hobby.

As a general rule, if you play poker for fun, your session should not last more than 3-4 hours, as it is difficult to maintain concentration after this time.

playing rush and cash omaha 2 hours in morning / 2 hours in the night.. for me work

I play in the evenings after work. Weekends are my favourite because, according to statistics, they are the most profitable for me.

Play in your "Leisure" time. Work, family and your basic chores like getting the car fixed, food shopping, cutting the grass, etc. come first. Poker is a nice way to relax and enjoy some recreation.

It will always depend on how much time you have available to play and the desire and objectives you have. I think you should dedicate at least 6 hours a day to playing poker.

If you choose to play cash games, i think it's a reasonable possibility, but if it's one or several simultaneous tournaments it's crazy.
