I've been grinding for a while, and poker is just a job. I don't love it any more than an accountant loves office work.

When I started, tournaments were exciting: the chance of big prizes, the thrill of running deep, the emotional highs and lows of winning and losing.

After transitioning to cash games and full time play, the fun is gone. The only thing that matters is winning, and the only reason it matters is because money is useful.

I'm glad you love the game and hope you continue to have fun! What parts of the game give you the most pleasure?

I think love is a strong word... Just kidding. I do love this game, in fact. It supplies endless hours of enjoyment, it's a hobby that pays back, and it keeps me out of trouble. What's not to love, right? 👍 Nice question. Food for thought if you're hungry enough.
