I am interested in knowing how many cardschat players have knowledge of strategies, positions, blinds, rivals, etc. From 1 to 10 how many do you think you know about poker?

I'd say for the time I've been playing poker and for all I've gained in knowledge, I'd give myself a "6" rating. Now putting the knowledge you have acquired into practice is another story. Good luck at the tables.:)

If I knew what I didn't know from what I thought I knew then I would know a lot of things ... until then, I'm just a simple player with an oscillating balance.

I think that I know about poker from 3 to 10, at first I tried to understand the strategies, positions, but then I just started playing for fun.:)

I think even if you understand completely all aspects of the game, it`s possible that tomorrow it will be useless, and you will need to update your knowledge again, never end process I believe.

Tough question for a newbie like me. I've only been playing for just over a year and I have a looooong way to go. I'm just playing for fun anyway. But I'd say I'm maybe a 2 or 3 out of 10. I really only know the basics.

Well i do know that amongst cardchat players i am the only one who can actually make (correct) decisions pretty much in split second ...

to be honest , I don't have too many achievements in poker, I didn't win tournaments with big money potential; I only play the game as a hobby and so I can say that I am a solid 6 :))

Hello😀
I'm afraid that your question is not correctly posed, from the outside it is clearer who is capable of what 😀 Because I, as a self-respecting person, think that I play poker very well, it's just that there are people who have more experience and practice, that's all😀

I'm still learning to go from hobby poker player to a more professional one, so I'd go with 4/10.

I've been playing for roughly 40 years but I'm constantly learning. The game is constantly evolving. I'd say around a 6/10. Better than average as I do play profitably. Not nearly as good as consistently good as I'd like to be.

I won’t lie poker is an encyclopedia it’s impossible to learn it to the end I think that in 1 year of playing I still don’t know anything about poker I tried to play as it is written in the book it didn’t help if the cards will go hand in hand for you then you will win but without cards to play for 1 tournament I get about 12-13 times a good card I try to somehow hold out at the table

I would say that I definitely have a basic knowledge, but since I've only been playing intensively for about 1-2 years, I would give myself an expandable 5. Poker is so complex that you can never stop studying it.

Playing poker online has a lot in common with playing at home or in a casino. After all, you are playing the same game, with the same rules, in the hope of winning in the end. However, online poker has a few features when choosing a poker strategy that should not be underestimated. But the fact that you do not see other players does not deprive you of the opportunity to try to calculate the strength of their hands based on other clues. One such clue is the speed at which the player bets. Strong hands tend to bet quickly, while a slightly late bet often indicates uncertainty in their hand.

I think about 8 or 9 for sure, the competition level has gone up a lot so I think many beginners have a solid foundation that can put them at the competition level

7/10

The problem is that you get to the proverbial 80/20 rule (although not in that proportion in this case). The idea that you can learn a lot in a little amount of time (e.g. "80% of the knowledge in 20% of the time") but it is the edge cases and exceptions that remain that take the most amount of creeping forward (e.g. "The remaining 20% of the knowledge takes 80% of the time").

My rating is 5/10 because I am still learning more about poker strategies. I am graduate as a beginner but in the future I'm gonna get back to basics once I am lost at the intermediate level.
