UTG raises and he is in between loose and tight player. Hero holds pocket 10's and just makes a call. Is it right move?

Board

J 5 8 rainbow.

UTG bets 2 BBlind. How would you know if he has QQ, KK, AA or AKs, AQs at this point?

In both situations, he can make continuation bet.

How big was his raise? Is this a cash game or tournament? What is the hero's position? You have not really given enough information to really begin to give you a proper analysis.

What are the blinds and stacks sizes? Is it early middle or late stage of the tournament?

It is middle. Stack size around 9K for both players and he is betting 750 pre flop and post flop.

You should have made a 3-bet on pre-flop tofind if he has a big pocket pair. Now you hero better just call and play turn.
