How to throw two pairs off the flop?

That's the situation
I have AQ
opponent AA
Flop (A Q 8)
I can not find the strength to throw these cards. After the turn and River, as usual, a full house does not reach((

As far as folding flopped 2 pairs , thats not gonna happen in my game ! Make sure you have adequate bankroll for game you're playing, so when those spots happens , and they will , you won't feel the way you do now , you'll just move on ... Variance

The fact of the matter is that I have it every 20 hands, I always put 2 pairs on the flop weaker (

This is a bad beat (to a point...) and variance. If I was out of position with your hand, I’d open pre, get raised by AA, and call off. I’d then have them on a strong hand. Post flop, I’d c-bet 2 pair, get raised again, and call off thinking I’m either behind or they can’t put kings down. On the turn, I’d check, and if they bet large again, I’d grumble fold.

You can’t value every top two pair hoping to get a house. You’re blocking your outs, and at best, you’ve got 16% to turn the house.

Don’t lose hope and keep playing.

I also have losing points on 2 pairs on the flop, but I do not fold because players have weaker cards and there is an opportunity to win, but sometimes I have 2 pairs on the flop and players come to the Turn or River. , but dropping 2 pairs on the flop is stupid!

I agree that it's stupid to throw out two pairs, but the opponent is always ahead, as here no longer to throw out))) I have 8 out of 10 hands lose ((

Folding top two on a flop like this is a leak in my bok. This is just a cooler, and you are ahead most of the time.

Ps. Sorry for the nitpicking, but a full house wouldnt help you. You need runner, runner queens for quads, to take this down

With pair below 10 10, I rarely play, because there are small chances that the third card will come out and whenever I go I lost. 2 different high card is much better than pairs under 10 10

With AA there you have to believe you're ahead. You have second nut with only a few draws that could beat you.

Well, it depends upon how the hand was played, but top two pair is REALLY hard to put down. Sometimes you can't get away from the lost hand... poker happens.

I don't think anyone who is a semi serious poker player to an avid pro is going to fold top 2 pair. Have a backup for when this happens by allocating a small amount of your bankroll to cover this variance.

It is very tricky situation, from my experience, mostly you have to watch how the opponent raised preflop and how he/she responds to your raise if you are early to make a choice. Considering opponents preflop bet or raise and playing style will likely to reduce your lose.

Come on man. That was not a mistake, it was just a cooler. Quads vs Aces full. Come on. You cant fold that hand, and if you dont manage to put all your chips in, thats a leak!

The same with OP hand. Flopping two pairs of Ace Queen on a dry board? You only lose to a set. You cant fold it. If you want to play it that safely you can go for pot control and fold when you see the shove over your already big enough bet, but thats bad poker in the long run. Maybe thats me but if your opponent hits quads when you have aces full so be it. If your opponent hits his set when you have top two pair then so be it.

The other option is to fold anything that is not a set or the nuts. And you arent going far with that mindset. You cant play poker scared. Thats why its important to have a good bankroll managment. So when a cooler arrives, you dont start thinking damn I had aces full, but shoving was a mistake.

unless yall super deeper idk how you can get away from this hand deeper can go into pot control mode with large stack try limit damage but this really just good old fashion cooler you hit top 2 and not go broke you will be losing ev long term that is unless you have huge icm considerations and in that case id advise raise fold pre flop if first to bet or flat not likely situation and sometimes just your time to go out with good bankroll management you can ride this wave just accept it as variance that doesn't happen all that often and move on in most situations super hero folds and calls arent' meant to be made every hand

Yeah i won't trow it away unless it has an obvious straight and/or flush otherwise I'm sure to lose. I don't think any player can fold in that case unless you saw the future lol.

Couldn't agree more. These are spots that each player should accept and understand.
Statistically these situations will happen also in your favour, the opponents are not going to fold.
