so this is a silly question and I know right out the answer for poker stars is absolute no because its obvious why but I have heard of cases of ipoker been funny

I folded KK pre flop to a shove I know as a fact as well the KK highly likely to be ahead but it don im 3500 chips if I fold so pretty safe and solid guy has about 2400 leaving me with 1100 if I lose 600 in blinds and etc and other two sitting there with about 1000 each I figure there almost out im pretty safe. I know villans shoving range isn't any two but is very wide here but I also know im near cert at the moment and just don't see the point in taking that risk.

its a logical fold. this a don on the bubble btw can they accuse of me collusion?

That shouldn't be a issue. You are just playing tight. That alone doesn't prove anything negative. I seen in some games you would guessed The whole table agreed to check down and that was fine as well.

I don't play at Ipoker but I'd agree that given the scenario you described, you are just playing tight and (hopefully) assuring you cash when 1 of the short stacks busts. Unless you somehow folded the KK face up pre, not sure how anyone could accuse you of collusion. Maybe Ipoker could accuse you, if you maybe have played 100's/1000's of don's against the same opponent(s) and they have reason to suspect you softplay against a/or particular opponent(s) in these games... Only thing I can really think of atm.

They would probably highlight the hands in an investigation, and if they saw you played a lot of DONs with the same groups of players, and many more instances of folding hands such as this were uncovered, you may find your account at least temp-banned until they looked into the matter further.

I sometimes fold KK when I am sure to get past the bubble by folding every hand, but only when it is dead sure

Did they ban the account?

KK is only about 7 to 3 favorite against A-rag, sometimes ICM says that isn't good enough.

Near the bubble it a oportunity to fold everything to rech ITM .There is no rule that does forbit it. I even folded AA before the bubble and got no mail for not playing correct . Its realy a nice and inteligent fold. So ure doing fine. Thumbs up

I don't think any simple fold will get you in trouble. It takes a lot more than that to be labeled as suspicious. What would get you in trouble is if you made trips on the flop, it was the best hand and then you fold it. You're play is easily justifiable and only happened once.

ive regularly made good money playing dons im not 100% sure about ICM in this spot but from a lot of experience in them I am well aware it is a clear fold.

I highly doubt im beat in that spot but as someone else said KK is only 70% against ace rag. my odds of placing are well above 95% in this spot and taking an 80-20 usually isn't a good idea either. I might call with AA but theres a good argument for laying even that down.

i haven't come across them much before so would be hard pressed to suggest large samples.

the spot is rare big stack v big stack with two small stacks and having 2nd best hand possible happens probably one in 1000 sngs or less.

In DoN SnGs, near the bubble, when you believe you have enough chips to keep you in the top half when the bubble bursts, there is a case to be made for folding 100% of cards.
So i can't see why that would be seen as suspicious, as the tactics in DoN are completely different to normal SnGs or MTTs, as you are not aiming to win, so much as aiming not to lose.... I hope that makes sense to you

its a don, if you folded AA with a big stack v the 2nd biggest stack with shorties on the bubble it would be perfectly ok

There's no rule that says you're required to play AA/KK no matter what, if you have more than enough chips on the bubble of a DoN/satty and will have to get tangled up with another big stack if you play, it should be easy to fold these.

From that post alone I can tell your a losing (at least at DONs) player. Have you ever heard of the term ICM?

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding your meaning here, but as described, It certainly is not OK for any or all players to (explicitly) agree to check down – that IS collusion
