So Clonie's $40 Million lawsuit against Full Tilt was basically dismissed. She can appeal the dismissal, but I doubt this is really going to go much further at this point.

Good luck Clonie, I'm sure that heater you need is right around the corner.

Airbrushed

You know the end of those Tilt TV commercials where the team is all standing in black tux/gowns with a black background (group shot around Howard)... well Clonie used to be on the far right. Now there is just a space there. I think they shot it that way (black on black) on purpose... Where's the next space going to appear?

Good question, but unless some kind of argument pops up again amongst one of the pros, I doubt anyone will be leaving.

Clonie was really the only kind of "outsider" in the original group. She was 1 of 4 members to have 0 bracelets (Gordon, Hansen, and Antonius are the others). Considering that Hansen and Patrik live on there and Gordon is good friends with the main guys who started it (Block/Ferguson/Lederer), I just don't see anyone else leaving.

Plus they probably already have their 1% share in Tiltware in writing.

Gordon,Hansen and PA are also better known and easier to market.
PA is marketed as one of the best ring players in the world and the best PLO player.
Hansen is the king of donkaments(even if he doesnt have a braclet his WPT and Aussie millions results are pretty awsome) and a noise bleeds reg.
Gordon´s a mini celebrity with numerous tv aperances+ his books and dvds and also a decent player.
Gowen is a ageing former beuty queen that didnt play much on FTP, no lose for them imo.

Guess she learnt something in life: "Don't go by verbal agreements".

I think shes done in the poker world as well...... She will probably play still, but people will just look at her differently.

Wow. She trashed a good thing. My guess is that she got paid a decent salary, she got promoted through the site (I don't think she would have made the cover of Maxim w/o FT) and I imagine that her live tournament buy-ins were paid for by FT with a stipend for travel expenses. I would also guess that she would be able to keep 100% of the tournament payouts.

Now she is on her own. One day she is going to realize how good she had it.

Well she did play in this year's National Heads Up Poker Championship on NBC and lost in the 1st Round to...Jerry Yang. I didn't see the episode she was in, so not sure if she had a new sponsor, but it is a $20,000 buy in for that tourney.

So yeah, she'll probably still play, but you'll also see/hear about her alot less.

I had no idea her real name was Cycalona.....

In light of all this nonsense I googled her name and stumbled into her web site...what a gem that is! The Ask Clonie section is priceless, where all answers boil down to "read a book on the topic."

She's really pumping the line "remember, bad beats make for lousy pillow talk." I'm not sure if this is her line or she just loves repeating it. Either way, no crap Clonie.

Too bad about Clonie. She's a good player but like a lot of people do (regardless of their gender) she got greedy. Maybe there really was a verbal agreement but who would be silly enough to sign up for something under a verbal agreement and not get it in writing.

Like others have said, she probably had it good and will soon realize that. Unless she did this to get out of a contract because she has another one brewing?
