I just need a little help.

I am a little ignorant when people talk about cash games. When someone says 25nl or 50nl, is the number referring to the max buy in at the nolimit table. Or does the number referrence the blinds in some way. Again sorry if you think this a dumb question but I have been puzzled by it for quite some time and I can't help but ask. Thanks

Its 100x the big blind which is often the table max but not always.

So a 50nl table would have blinds at .25 and .50?
