I just ran across site that Tests "Is Your Site Rigged" (only Ipoker did not pass)

Online Poker Watchdog

Networks that Passed All Tests:
  • PokerStars - no evidence of bias found: pass
  • Party Poker - no evidence of bias found: pass
  • Ongame Network - no evidence of bias found: pass
  • Merge Network - no evidence of bias found: pass
  • Entraction Network - no evidence of bias: pass
  • Bodog - no evidence of bias found: Pass

i-Poker Network - NOT ALL TESTS PASSED!
The result from 2 million hands showed a bias of over 4.2 standard deviations in favour of dominated hands. This result should occur due to variance only once in approximately 53,500 tests.

Widespread testing of 16 million more i-Poker hand samples from a variety of games and stakes showed no significant bias therefore it could not be concluded that the tests were failed outright

The guy who runs this site posts in the rigtard thread occasionally. Usually just a link to the site whenever they have a new result or whatever. As usual no one listens.

My question is if say in the merge testing were all merge sites tested or just one...not that I really am giving credence to this but wouldn't all merge need testing to clear merge across the board...I'm just saying...gl to all (eveen those at the rigged site)...lol

All merge sites share the same deal since they all play against each other. Therefore if one Merge site has a clean deal, all Merge sites have a clean deal.

Yeah as WVH said, Merge is one network with the same client software across all skins and the same backend infrastructure. It isn't possible for one to be "rigged" and not the rest, or vice-versa.

Read the OP again. iPoker wasn't declared as "rigged." It had a statistical anomaly over the first 2M hands, but the next 16M hands stood up to expectation. Therefore no conclusions can really be drawn.

It's no problem to have a separate thread for it. The true believers will just ignore it anyway.

So does that mean AQo is the nuts on IPOKER?

I'll start switching rooms once there's evidence with a 100million hand sample. 2 million is nothing.

2 million was obviously chosen because it was enough to be statistically significant. The guys behind that site aren't stupid.

Titan will never get my $$$$ if things are not improved :p

Personally I don't believe any are rigged. I just know I am rigged :D

The only thing that annoys me about Titan (ipoker) is their annoying support that harass you as soon as you log in to their client to deposit. I have told them I am skint and have not got the money to deposit, which they say "I understand blah, blah, blah, for them just to do it again later!! RME.

I for one am glad we have sites like watchdog. It's only a matter of time before the new random generators are busted! It's a fact it will happen.

Old. iPoker is terrible btw. Hate that company as a whole.

The thread about this (not here) was somewhat interesting. IIRC the most accepted explanation was bots sharing hole card information amongst themselves.

pokerstars is rigged.. their sistem is weird.. i have experienced so many times like playing 4 tables and having same cards on all 4 (coincidende right?) same colours same 2 cards in 4 tables.. or same flops it is possible to happen every now and then but it happens to much time that i get one hand on table 1 then fold it and then i miricaly get same hand as in table 1 that i folded.
