(LOL) I can burn a day away stay and play all week 24/7! It teaches you patience, confidence, steadiness, and how to LIE YOUR BUTT OFF!! (lol) more to come in the following weeks.

Just because poker involves luck, does not mean it is less intellectual than chess. In fact, one could argue the luck factor makes poker even more intellectual. You need to have the skill of knowing when someone has lucked out on you and throwing the cards away. You need to know how to take the bad luck, account for it, and still come out on top in the long run. You even need to have skill to deal with good luck. Sometime you shove, sometimes you min-bet, sometimes you bet for value depending on how strong you think the opponents are. I would argue those are all intellectual skills and none are applicable to chess.

I can see where online poker could be a way of life. just recently i have found myself scheduling outings around the tournaments i want to play in. Some days that means staying in all day, but others mean I'm free to go out and spend the day. How addicted to poker are you when you schedule life around the tournaments?

I don’t say that I love or adore poker, I love and adore my beloved woman and my relatives and close people, and playing poker for me is just a hobby and spending free time - and it’s still very good for me when I get extra profit from the game and it's great for me, I play in my free time and sometimes I like to spend poker in cash games or tournaments with knocking out players, for me poker is an excellent game in which you can make a profit if you try well and make fewer mistakes in games !
