I don't think poker will ever be recognized as an Olympic sport. Still, poker, in my opinion, is more of a gamble than a sport.

It would be very nice to attend on the olympic games. The feeling in the olympic village would be awesome. All the athletes and the honoures sportsmen. It would be a lifetime experience. But i think im not so good to be the representive player for germany. And i did not have the potential to develop my skills in this way. But i loe the game.

First of all poker is a game with huge luck %. So it can’t be Olympic game.
As I understand people on Olympic Games show theirs talents, strengthens, fastness, and in Olympic Games there is only small Prozent of luck.
As a result I don’t really think poker can be sometimes in Olympic

Definitely not... Mostly because I would very VERY likely crash and burn out of the running very early on against people deemed good enough to play for their country in the Olympics.

I'd rather not be remembered as the guy that played poker in the Olympics and blew our chances on the first table after 10 minutes

I would definitely be very proud of representing and defending my country should poker be an Olympic Sport. As of now it is illegal to play poker in my country (Poland). Therefore that would be one more reason for me to go out there and try to promote and popularize poker. Many people in my country still consider it as some suspicious and underground activity for shady individuals and I do not like that. I would like to think of poker like a mind game (like chess) and I would hope to show this kind of image for broader audience.
