What a good question. But when it came down to it I've had a lot of trouble thinking about what I'd change. It seems to be pretty good. assuming you're talking about Texas hold 'em. So I can't think of a proper rule I'd like to change, but in a dream world I wish there was a rule where if 1 player call a bet on the turn the original raise can add all thier chips to the pot to finish the hand there and then. Without a river. I am sick of people hitting the river to beat me.

I would definitely do away with ieji tournaments with unlimited re entry. In my opinion it spoils the game.

I would introduce a severe penalty for insulting other players. Insulting a player is an automatic ban. I think this is a correct and necessary rule.

One of the things that always bothered me was the person shoving all in cause they had to leave. If that is the case, just sit out and let the stack disperse. Not sure what the change would be, someone at the table just got an advantage.

I wouldn't change much about poker because everything that is now in poker and the rules and its actions all work great would change the only thing I would change is that people who are stalling or absent while playing are slightly fined for chips or something else they leave or stall for time it makes me a little angry

In tournaments I would limit late registration to 15 minutes , and do away with rebuys and addons .Like things were decades ago, when patient disciplined play was rewarded !
