Every player has that one hand that still lives rent-free in their head. Maybe it's a fold you can't stop second-guessing, a hero call that turned out wrong (or brilliantly right), a bad beat that still stings years later, or the exact moment you knew you'd fallen in love with this game.

If you had one time machine and could go back and replay a single hand from your entire poker life, which one would it be, and would you actually change anything, or just relive it exactly the way it happened?

I'll start when a few people jump in, but I want to hear yours first. Doesn't have to be a huge pot. Sometimes the small ones haunt us more than the big ones.

Great topic! Mine wasn't even a huge pot, but an early hand in my poker journey where I tried a three-barrel bluff against a total "calling station." I threw away half my stack on pure hope. If I could go back, I’d just check back the turn—that single hand taught me the golden rule: never try to bluff a player who hates folding.

My first Royal Flush. I was so excited I didn't even know what to do—it was just so unbelievable. If my dude hadn't been there to help me, I might have run out of time to act. Time seemed to slow down almost completely. It was truly unbelievable and shocking; I was completely frozen, and I didn't want to believe that this was really happening.

I was really deep in the Sunday Storm, and got in a massive pot with JJ, which I lost, I'd love to just fold that pre or on the flop, and have been able to play on and maybe even make the FT

Biggest tournament buy-in I ever played. 7 hours in, maybe 1 hour from ITM. I got dealt KK from early position. I min raise and got called by huge stack with 73.

Flop 73X 3 colors. I was done.

If I could replay just one hand, it'd be the one where I ignored my instincts and made a hero call that I knew was probably wrong. I'd go back, trust my read, and make the fold instead. That single decision would've saved a big chunk of my stack—and it's a reminder that discipline often wins more than bravery in poker.
