I've used it to some good effect in live play and especially in a home game where I play the same folks every time. I try to keep an image of a total donk/maniac - loose & donk off a lot of small pots, and a couple big ones here and there... then get them for their whole stack when they decide to make a stand at the wrong time against my set.
