Totally agree with you mate as he is not the greatest player of all time. My comment was more directed at this present time. As for greatest player ever it is a hard one, me personally would not put Daniel Negreanu up there like a lot of people have said. It is a hard question as there are different players from different times who all deserve a listing. Like Phil Ivey, Stu Ungar, Chip Reese etc. That would be a line up I would of loved to see a high stakes NLHE ring game with Phil Ivey, Stu Ungar, Chip Reese, Viktor Blom, Doyler Brunson. (All action players from different eras) For me though if I had to pick one person I would have to pick Phil Ivey, as although he is struggling to keep up with the PLO/NLHE nosebleed specialists these days he can still hold his own at pretty much any variation against any opponent. Not to mention he is also a real good tournament player. If anyone doesn't know much about Stu Ungar I strongly recommend watching 'One of a Kind' A bookmakers son from New York who had literally been gambling everyday from 10 or so year old. It is a real good documentary but a sad one also. You can watch it free on youtube.
