Don't you absolutely hate when your ISP is giving you problems? Mine's absolutely terribly...I'm disconnected atleast once every half hour. Somedyas when it's bad I'm getting disconnected every couple minutes. It drives me insane...Today it picked the perfect hand to do it.
I'm big blind with a J-7. Fair amount of people in the pot. Flop comes down Jh-7h-Ad. I'm like hell yeah, planning to try and slowplay and hope the flush doesn't hit, something I don't usually do but I've started lately. Then it hits. I start getting disconnected...It's happening during the guy before my turn...I figure it'll come back and I'm still pretty excited. Then it stays for a couple seconds. Then I come back just as the first post-flop bet is being made but it has used my disconnect protect and thus even though I'm back won't let me participate in the hand. What's the turn, you say? It's 7d. I now have a full house and there's some good action happening around the table due to the Ace and the flush draw. The flush hits on the river and one guys goes all-in and gets a caller. He has the flush, other person has AK (typical party poker idiot). I win $1.25 from preflop. YES!
What a great hand that could've been if my ISP didn't suck ass. It's absolutely the worst one we've ever had, I don't know why we stay with it.
