Yes, that's the general consensus, but tournaments can also be highly profitable. More chance to win huge and also an optimal setting for applying advantages like ICM pressure which cash games don't really offer. It's a different skillset, but both are good. Overall, I like tournaments and find them more profitable. But I also play cash games, and cash games can also be profitable.
