It's gone

Help! I have no urge to play poker!

I went on a 4 week holiday over Xmas and New Year and didn't play any poker at all. For the first week I did read a bit of Phil Gordon's book to keep my brain thinking of poker but this soon stopped as I was having too much fun on holiday!

Now I've got back I have absolutely no urge to play poker. I didn't come on here for a week whereas before I was on everyday, albeit lurking/reading. I've picked up a poker magazine a couple of times but soon got bored of the articles.
Before I left I was playing poker regularly, enjoying it and making profits.

Has this happened to any of you guys before? Advice?

yeah it will come back to you just keep having fun and if you dont thik about poker it's coll as long as your having fun!

You're CURED! So few of us get over the poker bug. Count yourself fortuneate.

Mine has been gone for about a year. In the meantime I've been hanging out here, soaking up info like a sponge. The urge is starting to return as my confidence rises.

My advice is to play in CC events. The buyins are low, the competion is good, and you can have a lot of fun and meet great people at the same time.

I'm planning to take my own advice more.

I just came of a hiatus myself went through similar problem, it just takes time to get back into the swing.
