Johnny Lodden drugged and robbed

Just read this on his blog - thought it was interesting.

Yesterday night a gang of players went down to the best/finest restaurant at Bellagio for dinner. It was Kris, Thor Hansen, Henning Granstad, Andreas Walnum and me. After a very good dinner and a few bottle of wine the youngsters among us went over to Caesars Palace where Riise and an American friend have a reservation at Pure – a fantastic night club.

After just a drink or 2 all went totally blank for me, and I don’t remember anything from rest of this evening besides when I came back to Bellagio with puke all over me and 2 guards following me to my room.

I suspect there was something in my drink that shouldn’t have been there so I ‘blacked’ out like I never have done before – not that I can remember. J Stupid as I was I had about $10 K in my pockets, my passport, my cell phone and a camera and when I woke up again this morning I had just my passport. And to loose the cellular phone is so oajsribnhsl!!!
Away from this last ’accident’ it has been an amazing trip so fare and I have just plus sessions in 100-200 and 200-400 witch make this a trip where I’m leaving with more money than I came with. If you had made a betting on this before I went here I’m sure you would have gotten at least 10 in odds from a bookie on me!!! But there is a few days left, so time will show…
Maybe Kris and I go over to LA on Friday to play a charity tournament on Saturday at PLAYBOY MANSION!!!

Now I am tired and exhausted and goes early to bed.

Not to detract from this guys hard luck of being drugged and robbed, there's no excuse for the bad guys. The bastards!

Still it amazes me and I've been around for over 40 years. To be able to take a loss of 10 grand and shrug it off because he's still ahead is like WOW!

I've worked in million dollar mansions and have knocked around with some fairly rich friends, I've seen people spend as much on a chandiler for their home/lobby/entrance as most people pay for their whole homes.

I still get that sense of WOW! I should know what it's like to have that kind of disposable cash. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see this kind of thing, it gives me hope. (Not the robbery, the sucsess)

If wishes were horses, beggers would ride! I've been walking all my life .... one of these days ... man ..... I'm gonna ride!
