How is that a slowroll? It's pretty close to if not a fold on his part. Similarly I hate your play without a read. Your river shove is never getting called by worse and honestly I doubt he ever has worse. A 21/14 is always raising JJ+ in that spot so like honestly what could he possibly have that you beat in that spot? Putting yourself in his shoes what could you possibly shove for value that T7 beats? It's basically a bluff-catcher but obviously also beats hands that I guess you just vbet insanely thin on like AA.

I dno but if this where me holding T7 considering the action i would seriously scared of a bigger T or a FH.
I would never fold there cause im uncapable of folding period, specialy trips but if he is a good player u dont think he could be considering folding here?
Your basicly just repping over pairs,Tx and full houses so im dont think its unresanble to think he was actualy worried he was beat and there for not a slowroll.

But yeah what a dick. slowrollers and SS should all be infected with herpes and then shoot...

edit: never mind Zach said it all....

I don't think so Zach. I think he plays (and calls the shove) with JJ-KK. I ran it through Stove after the session and it's pretty much a neutral spot if he calls with JJ-KK as well as all the hands that beat us.

As for how it's a slowroll, find me a person who limp/calls T7 pre and then EVER folds trips. Just doesn't happen. So if he knows he's calling (and he always calls) yet he still calls time and let's it tick down to 1, it a slowroll.

I'm not talking about postflop. How often does a 21/14 limp-call JJ-KK preflop? If he was a 21/0 I would agree but he still raises 14% of his hands. Pretty sure this means JJ+ he's raising 100% preflop.

Well I don't believe he's ever folding here, but there's a huge difference to thinking "wow I must be beat but I can't fold trips" and thinking "muahahaha I have the nuts but I'm gonna let it time down to be funny/a dick". First part is still frustrating when you're the one who loses the pot but I can excuse that behavior. Actually I brought that up in that tourney I played over in WV the guy tanks for a few minutes and calls my 3-bet shove for like 25 BBs with KK. Obviously he was never folding but for some reason he thought I may have aces and was tanking. Sure it's frustrating, but it's hard to get mad at them when the reason they did it was because they're idiots and don't know any better and not because they wanted to be a dick. Huge difference imo.

Seeking a little help from a live game the other weekend. 1/2 NL (200Max)
Im sitting with $800 after two hours (flopping quads and a lady who calls down bottom pair an A high consistently helps). Anways a new guy is at the table with ~$150 in EP1. He makes it $10 to go and folds to me on the button. Im sitting with AA. Make it $30 to go and folds back to him who calls.
FLOP: 10 4 7 rainbow.
villian checks:
Hero bets: $60
Villian calls.
Turn 8
Villian shoves for ~$60
Hero? Is this a snap call because of the size of the pot and my stack?

oh and if this all goes through I'm going to play mtts on PS again and play strictly cash at FT. I know I can kill up to 50nl I just need to find my grind and fix some leaks!

But I am not giving up mtts!

edit: has FT gotten faster with support?

Did you read the Dennis Phillips article? You should just check/fold on the flop obviously aces are only the nuts preflop what do you think he has betting into you J8?

But yeah seriously this is a snapcall. 20% of effective stacks went in preflop we're not in the business of looking for places to fold postflop. If it was like 5678 all one suit I'd consider folding, and especially after flop we can basically never fold. Just get it in.
