As a secondary source of income. For at least a year. So far (since I started tracking live play) my earnings rate for poker exceeds my hourly at my 9-5. I plan on staying employed for a while to keep health insurance and other benefits rolling until I know 100% that i want to play full time.

Are you any good? Fall back plan?

I can consistently beat 1-2 and 2-5 live games for sure, with game selection being a rather large factor. Ive been beating my local game for the last 2 years and ive played in Vegas many many times, being winner with no trouble. As far as fall back goes I have a degree and have a lot of experience in my field, and I have a few friends in vegas who play full time and could back me in the unlikely case i go busto.

My MTT game is decent, and the payout structure in the Takedown is generous if I remember correctly
