Well its silly but all us non loyals know is that people who where loyal have left so we wonder why? Dont get me wrong Im not leaving anytime soon but its natural to question why all this is happening esp with the we will make a comment soon that doesnt happen.

These peeps left for a reason and it yeah you can say trust the mods but who says the mods where right/wrong in the first place? Sorry for negitive thoughts CC will never die but tell me not to question stuff and it makes me question it more.

Btw hope Pantin Belgo and switch stay as they have posted after this mess.

Surely it's only spam, if the recipient doesn't necesarily want to recieve it?

Come on Jag, spam is spam, if you try to advertise one forum on another forum it is quite obvious that it is pure spam.

no warning at all? seriously?

i think it's pretty obviously different from typical spamming since he sent it specifically to people he is friends with who he figured would have legitimate interest in the site. even if it is an offense, it's an incredibly minor one

does everything really have to be black or white? wow, use your common sense and judge on a case by case basis. this whole "zero tolerance" intransigence is just maddening

i understand why zach was banned and based on everything i've read, didn't really object to that. but this is absolutely ridiculous and stinks of bitterness. you're letting stubbornness hurt the site's content and by virtue of that you're hurting your loyal members. be reasonable

Ok Nick I saw that link and I will be honest I was intrested but I didnt click on it at all.

I love this site but find it funny how fast something was posted on BW spamming when so many members have been confused on recent events and hear nothing?

We put our trust in cardschat but cardschat sometimes should do the same.

Please stay others you help make this site what it is

They most certainly should stay, Cardschat is as great as ever - and we are rocking and rolling as always.

Come on guys, Zach went a little crazy, got banned. We did what we had to do, Zach had his own reasons for going crazy. It is what it is, can we move on.

Perhaps you should direct your indignation at the person who underhandedly advertised another forum via PMs while clearly being aware of the forum rules, rather than at those who police the site and do their best to tidy the forum up and rid it of such people?

Warnings do no good when people are fully aware to start with that they're breaking the rules.

Mr McC, drop me (or any mod) a PM with whatever you're concerned about (I can probably guess what), and I'll try to clear things up for you. Same goes for anyone else.

Blanko,

I have run this forum for 5 years, and I can never see an instance where deliberately advertising/spamming another forum on here would not be an insta-perma ban.

Obviously by virtue that we received complaints about it, it was pure spam.

:dito: I am with the staff, on what has happened, over the last week.
BW doing this, he was acting like a child.

THE rules, are the same for every one.

To be clear guys - he mass spammed it. It was not just sent to a few close friends here in this thread. It was forwarded to us by many members - some whom barely know him.

Not everyone he sent it to was a loyaler:

Nick said:
Guys can we take any further discussion to https://www.cardschat.com/forum/suggestions-questions-announcements-6/announcement-157340/ please.

Honestly I can't imagine how you can not see in both cases why we have done what we have done, but if you want me to respond further I am happy to do so - that thread is the place for it.
