Which Kind, When?

I'm gonna post this here because... well its about general poker. I've read quite a bit about BRM and I understand that, but I always have a question that never seems to be a part of the BRM discussion, or at least those that know...just seem to know.

Here goes... When do you know to play One table SNG vs MTT vs Ring Game? I only play Hold'em no Limit, but I suppose you could even through in, When do you change your game?

Looking at Mr. Jesus' BRM article, he never specified why he played in a MTT vs Ring Games, or at what point we would switch it up.

So I figure ask you folks! When do you guys switch things up? And why?:icon_scra

Pick 1. If you love soul crushing variance and feel the need to want to stab yourself in the ankle 10 times a day? Tourneys are your game. Otherwise go with cash games.

Hey don't pick on us ankle stabbers! And its 9 times a day!

I suggest playing a variety of game formats until you figure out what you are best at and what you like best.

Then pick one and stick with it, learn to beat it.

i have been a 9h player for a long time. Then i have been on a sick SNG downswing and decided to play HU and have not looked back. I used to hate cash game, but when u play HU it is a totally different game.
