I would like to have the KQ. I just like it better than TT. Tens are not running that well for me the last couple of years.

Both have roughly sme equity but personally I prefer both of them, but yeah 10 10 has one advantage as we can shove preflop without a doubt when we have less than 30 big blinds.

It all depends on the number of players at the table, if you are one on one then it is better to have 10 10, and if 4-5 out of 9 play in combinations and do not discard a card, it is better to have KQ, since there are much more chances to win with it.

There is no doubt that a TT is a more promising option. With a ready-made pair, you already have a significant advantage and better chances. At least I think so. :)

10-10 is stronger than KQ

When you play 10-10 vs KQ, you have 55.79% equity for 10-10 against 44.21% for KQ

Beyond a KQ I imagine a KQs vs TT, I think there are more variables to analyze than the simple combination of cards, the first: your position at the table, second: the size of your stack vs the rivals at the table, the proportion of your stack in relation to BB, and finally: the analysis that you have made of your rivals .. in the end I like more if the TT is in a 60-40 ratio, both hands with the same weight. I stay with TT because I no longer have to flirt if the other does not have an older partner ...

I choose KQ or 1010, somewhere around 50/50.

It depends, because if i have a big stack im always choosing KQ,but if i have a short stack going up against someone with a massive chip lead,i choose 10 10.

Maths says 1010 obviously and its easy to say you shove this when short stacked but when you a big stack and are calling off most of your stack or all of it - you can bet you bottom dollar you are always facing either paint/AK/AQ/AJ or a better premium pair - this is where studying your opponents calling and raising ranges comes in really handy.
I either fold it/call it and play it as a situational thing..

I know most players would prefer KQ over 10 10 as a starting hand but not me. I think 10 10 is a better starting hand because there is no guarantee that a K or Q may hit the board. Give me 10 10!

I will choose 1010, initially they have more chances of winning, albeit by a couple of percent

Questions like this one always remind me why playing live poker cash games will be profitable if you play any kind of decent ABC poker.

TT vs KQ is like 55% vs 45% when in heads up situation. That people actually want the 45% end of this stick tells me all I need to know why making money in live poker is always going to be possible. Thanks again to all of you who'd always pick the weaker starting hand to play in a poker hand....love you guys!!!

All the best to you KQ holders vs TT in 2022!!

All in pre i’ll take the pocket 10’s but depends on the specific situation. Also is it KQs or KQo?

a pair of tens has a 54% of winning the hand against kq so for that reason i would choose the pair of tens. in a multiway pot maybe kq plays better though so in that scenario i might choose kq specially if suited...

I'll take the 10's please. Bird in the hand is better then a draw.

Be Well
