10 10 is worthless unless u push pre with everyhand 22 or better and half 3x lead on nxt big stack. so i would take 1010 or even 22 with 3x stack and high blinds mid to late in tourney over kq or even ak all day.
Worthless? You know that you only have about a 33% chance of flopping more than K-high, with KQ, right? For TT, it's 100%. Oh, and unlike KQ, you're ahead of Ace-high. And you're only behind a pair of Jacks or better.
KQ is good for opening in late position. That's about it. You're as likely to make a straight with it as you are with 23. People like to play suited Aces, so, in a big pot, don't be upset when someone else has a better flush than you. If I'm in the SB, I don't even like to call in a 9-way limped pot with KQs. It is so apt to get you into trouble.
