If you where involved in a huge scandal wouldnt you atleast give out some kind of press release? or give a interview or w/e to try to clear your name?

I would probably have said SOMETHING, even like "get out of my face". Must be a great poker player, when he's not cheating!!
Sometimes the more you say , the more you dig the hole...Look at Barry Bonds. His hole is pretty deep and getting deeper everytime he opens his mouth.
This is another reason we need some kind of checks and balances for
online poker. Have the sites put up million$$ in bonds and see who would risk this kind of behavior.
