Legal Poker in All States

Its ironic, that as adults, we allow the government to control our ability to play poker as we may want to.
How did this happen? Why cant adults play poker together in their own homes. Without the Government in our personal business? It can be legal if they find a way to tax us. Right?
I am not encouraging anything illegal. However, I am confident that some of the Governors will be pressing President Trump, to lift some of the unnecessary restrictions for us all to play poker with less difficulties. I really hope so....

We live under the yoke of the law for anything and not just gambling, when they are taxed and governments are able to visualize a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, they can pass laws and release everything, be it cigarettes, drinks, games,

Not sure of the question regarding playing together in your home? There shouldn't be any restrictions for a home game for money. If this was an online related question, that opens things up considerably for debate.

My thing is not so much playing in every State but it pisses me off that a lot of the sites I played at before the ban won't let me play because I'm American.. Not to mention a lot of them were and still are way better than the ones they left US players to settle for.

In many states they can, including mine (CT). They just can't make a business out of hosting poker games. You could work to change the law in Michigan.

States set their own laws. Home poker, cardroom poker, or both are legal in most states. online poker is fully legal, regulated, and taxed in NJ, NV, and DE. Other states are free to join this list.

Yeah that must be why Washington forced ACR BOL etc to provide to the whole world and all 47 obedients states in usa but to exclude only those three states that had a backbone

ACR is based in Costa Rica, BOL in Panama. They follow the laws of those countries, not of the United States.
It is debateable whether these companies, and other offshore sites like them are violating U.S. federal law. It's a gray area, and these are sometimes called "grey market" sites.
ACR's CEO, Phil Nagy, an American, has said on Twitch that he has not returned to the USA in many years due to legal concerns.

There is an exception to the UIGEA for sites authorized by law, such as the ones serving New Jersey, Nevada, and Delaware. Those states passed laws making certain sites legal, so the federal UIGEA law does not prohibit those sites.
The federal government has not attempted to shut down online poker in these states. There is no "obedience" or "standing up to" or "backbone" involved. States are welcome to make online poker legal if they want to. Pennsylvania, Illinois, and California have all recently debated legalizing online poker too.

The U.S. federal government does not ban anyone anywhere from playing poker online.

But some states do. ACR does not take players from those states. That's 43 states, not the 47 you claim, where ACR accepts customers.

Poker is banned in Russia since 2009! The ban concerns the organization of the games on money, but does not affect the players themselves. In the off-line poker can be played in specially designated gambling zones

Online gambling is a world wide. Why would the US banned poker while other countries still have the privilege to play. They should quit treating online poker as a business and more like a sport.

In time you will see that things are not quite as they appear but not totally opposite either.

You are correct that the laws are the laws but you don't know truly what the meaning is behind.

For example, easy to say 'of course all countries outlaw murder' but why some will legalize euthanasia but others not? Why some will legalize abortion and yet make euthanasia illegal.

Tell to me the logic... It's whatever the corporations funding the parties feel benefits them more.

It's why euthanasia is always an option in almost all countries of private healthcare but much less commonly legal with public so on and so forth.

You think it's all about honesty and written words, it's a game like poker actually and you are being semi-bluffed 24/7.
