JJ started out like any other player, full of enthusiasm and confidence. However, it quickly stood out not for victories, but for the incredible ability to lose even when it seemed impossible.
- Do you get good cards? Someone always had a better hand.
- Were you trying to bluff? It read like an open book.
- Are you sure? I ended up being eliminated because I didn't risk it.

The legend was consolidated because JJ's defeats followed an almost predictable script:
1. Initial trust — JJ comes to the table believing that “now it will”.
2. Moment of hope — A promising hand, chips piling up.
3. The cruel turn — A letter in the river defeats your strategy.
4. The final stage — JJ loses everything and reinforces his fame.

The possibility of JJ winning a match is seen as a mythical event. If this ever happens, it will be celebrated as a historic milestone. But, paradoxically, his legend may lose strength, since the charm lies precisely in his perseverance in defeats.

The legend of JJ in poker isn't just about losing chips, but about how repeated bad luck can turn into a myth. JJ is remembered not as a loser, but as a folkloric table character, who proves that even in defeat there is room for laughter, stories, and unity.

Now tell me your most unbelievable Bad with JJ.

JJ sounds like the human version of a cursed RNG 😄 I swear pocket Jacks are either a dream or a disaster, nothing in between. My worst was flopping a set, feeling invincible, and then watching a runner-runner straight crush me on the river. Ever since then, JJ feels less like a hand and more like a psychological test.

I have a certain trauma and prejudice against any pair ending in J, including JJ; I've rarely had success with that combination.

The first rule you learn in poker is "JJ is fold".

I've lost JJ vs. JJ before, imagine the joy of the JJ who won.
