Hello CC'ers (sorry to all players on the wrong side of the Atlantic :p)

The Grosvenor poker tour (GUKPT) has a leg in Coventry with a cheap buy in and lots of side action (plently of fish) they also have a team comp so thinking if we get a few CC'ers together we could give it a pop. Details below, im going to play this either way but thought it would be good to meet a few of you i havent met before and maybe some old faces :)

I will be there. I`ll be playing the Main Event and (if I bust out early) the 25/25. I will cheerfully wear my Cardschat badge and say hello to anyone who spots me.

A word of caution though - the Goliath is very busy indeed. It would be a challenge to find your own mother in the crowd, let alone a bunch of guys whom you don`t know by sight.

If they set up the tables the same as in previous years, the bar is the main route between the cardrooms and it`s noisy and crowded.

Hey guys long story short I would love to do this I have 2 weeks pto to use and am very curious about how much it would cost to visit and just have some fun

anyone have a general Idea

I would have to fly out of Iowa cheap hotel and then food/games

I mean the weeks stay in Cov would probs be like £100-200 if you book early

std I would fly out of Iowa which would be des moines

otherwise I could fly out of minneapolis or chicago

4 hour drive north 6 hour drive east both easily doable
