Online at home I dont think music is a big deal.gspot89 said:OK, so I am just curious. I see a lot of people listening to music with their headphones on at the table allllll the time. I was wondering how people feel about this? Are you able too? Do you think its better for your game play? Im curious to know.
Personally, I find it almost impossible to listen to music while playing a serious game. Especially cash games when there is a **** ton of money on the table.
For me, i find it to be sensory deprivation. I need all my senses working when I am playing. I have to be able to analyze the table. Analyze the way a certain player acts when hes strong or weak. Things he says, etc. With headphones on, you miss out all all kinds of cues. I think all your doing when using music while playing is screwing yourself.
How do you feel?
