I'm interested as to whether other players have better results in online or live tournaments and which they find easier to make money from. I have been playing for 6 months and I am in profit in live tournaments at casinos but have made a loss online. Am I in the minority in this, and are online tournaments supposed to be easier to win money? You get far more maniacs and idiots who just go all in all the time online. I seem to just get loads of bad beats online tho. In the last couple of days I've had AA lose to A8, QQ lose to Q10, and JJ lose to AJ when gone all in preflop in tournaments. I'm getting really pissed with it online now, and am not entirely convinced that the cards are totally random and impartial. I'm considering giving up playing online and just playing in live games, which seem to go much better for me.

Depends on the type of player you are, so work what is best for you--stay live.

The biggest adjustment on-line is the faster clip it moves, so it seems like you have more bad beats.
