So, the chip thread made me think to ask. We are constantly on the lookout for the high quality plastic cards that the casinos used in years past. Has anyone run across these? If so, I'd love to know where to get them. It's one thing hubby is always looking for. Thanks!

I started a thread like this not oo long ago. Kem cards are very impressive. They are difficult to bend, mark or crease. They are also washable which comes in handy when somebody accidentally spills beer on them. They shuffle like butter also. Here's my thread i mentioned earlier: https://www.cardschat.com/forum/general-poker-13/poker-deck-83946/

Thanks everyone! :) I'm off to Google Kem cards.
I wish the forum had a 'search' feature for keywords. That might come in handy; especially for us novices!

make sure you get Kems from US Playing Card Co., they bought Kem, and stand by the guarantee. I got some Kems that are older (?) from kem.com, that were easily torn (the more expensive 'professional' decks), and it was a pain in the ass to get them replaced.

With US Playing Card you can sent the damaged card with the ace of spades and they will send you AN ENTIRELY NEW DECK. With the other company (?) they attempt to replace the card, but I went through several mailings before I got a matching cut/back color.

Read what aliengenious said before buying Kems, Kem.com seems like it wouldn't be good.

I'm guessing the ones PokerStars sends you for FPPs are bad quality?
