Looking for online poker players

I thought this would be a good place to come to look for online poker players to help with my MBA studies and to complete the online poker survey below

Just curious, how are you using poker for your MBA?

Hi Mase, I am looking at the corporate social responsibility & corporate governance for online poker operators with regards to the effectiveness of responsible gambling. I am looking to see if there is any changes in the way people gamble, if the responsible gambling material has been read or used.

Of course there are many more ways to squeeze a dissertation out of the subject I'm sure

I work in customer support and just couldn't be bothered to do anything on that

I've also filled it out. I'm a little disappointed that it's just focused on the addiction aspect, and doesn't have any depth to the cause of addictive gambling.

Hello Wander, Thanks for filling in the survey its much appreciated.

The survey is not to research the causes of addiction as this is a massive field of study and stems from everything that happens in a persons life through to possible genetics. Also there is only one serious form of gambling problem which is called pathological gambling, again not an area I am studying. the area I am looking at is if there is any correlation between responsible gambling regulation and changing of players behaviour.

The problem with these research papers are that you can only ever cover a really small specific part of a subject unless you complete a PHD for example.

Just to clarify, its has to have some questions about behaviours of addiction but it is looking to see if there are trends or links between the responsible gambling features and info and if its has an impact on changing the way people gamble. The logic in the questions are there so if you selected yes to have you read the responsible gambling for example it would ask if it was useful and then later if you have changed your gambling frequency or money amount.

Again I really appreciate everyone taking the time to complete this I know you are all busy crushing at the tables like me!! I wish

Unfortunately, it wasn't worded to appear to be anything about responsible gambling. It just made me feel that I was a degenerate gambler with a problem. The questions are very similar to questions asked by programs for people with gambling addictions. It wasn't quite as insulting as the survey you have to take to ban yourself from casinos in Missouri (betsoff program), but it definitely had the same feel.

Yes the survey is on poker so stop the gambling questions. Just take the word out and you'd get better results.
