siiigh switch, his limpcall PF + betcall flop + donk turn range has you so crushed. two pairs, sets, straights out the ass, none of which are ever folding

i guess you know that, just don't know what could induce you to shove on literally the worst turn card in the deck for your hand and the best for his range (at least on a 4h you can have hearts to hit)

Looked pretty standard to me. He's raising all aces pre, betting top pair on the flop. He's repping essentially a Jack or a pair under jacks on the turn. And pairs under jacks on the turn got c-fitted.

honestly I don't think you should continue playing that deep while you're taking a shot if losing your stack in a standard beat gets you tilted. I know I often leave if I double up or more at 400nl because I know an $800 loss (assuming someone else is deep too), as even in a std 80/20 beat will send my tilt through the roof.

Well yeah, but I have a big number of hands on this guy and I was sort of semi scared that I was beat since I thought he played the nuts postflop but if I went with that why didn't I just flat his river bet lol.

and well yeah, those spots where you're getting like 5:1 but your hand is good <5% of the time, it's good to be disciplined enough to fold there obv.

I never do those kinds of folds but I actually thought I was ahead when he shoved for some reason.

There are times when i won't fold a hand that is unlikely to be good when getting real good odds, but almost always this is vs a not so good player who i know may just be spazzing out (and they do) some of the time. But you are never good there 20% of the time. Put yourself in his shoes...why on earth you would make a small *what appears to be* blocking bet and then bluff shove overtop of a river raise when you are a huge nit? In villain's eyes, you are never folding, hence the reason that you should. And, likewise, there is just no chance that villain is value cutting himself there vs KK. Makes more sense that it is what it is - villain hopes you have a big hand that won't want to flat a small river bet (or spaz out with air) and you will then feel priced in to call the river shove.

I know you were deeper, i was just saying that whether you are 125bbs deep or only 50bbs deep losing with AA vs 35o is sufficient to make one get a little frustrated.

You know what I mean though, I'm just saying taking a hit to +EV situations is fine if the variance is high and your stack is a bigger % of your roll, and as such your tilt is going to skyrocket if you lose it.

Obv AA vs 53 isn't high variance, but on avg against those guys it will be.

That said, I'm surprised you guys find beats tilting. You know over time those will even out and you'll profit massively. I find losing flips, getting coolered, getting outplayed or playing like shit way more tilting because you don't really know if you're 'doing it right' or how to fix it.
