recently I was in big KO tourney, down to 300 players and I was in somewhere 40s with my stack and I got cool bounty. Dealt AA in middle position, there was one raiser behind me, I shoved allin, next players folded, BB also gone allin and it came back to preflop raiser so he called too. AA v KK v 10-10. Preflop raiser hit set of tens and won. I don't understand that 10s call against two shovers (we had almost same stack size) at all but what to say, it happens to all of us and I hate to see that. I smoke and let it go)

Very frustrating ... but happens a lot. I'm always happy when I get them and then win the hand.:)

I had a bad day today, I lost some money today. I couldn't win absolutely with any strong hand. As for AA, I lost them twice today to straight and flush, and they collected them from 4 cards of the table. The first time I just have a pair of second time trips from aces. In general, such cases))) And despite my bad luck this afternoon, I still registered on SCOOP made one rebay and still decided to end the game) Of course, it's unpleasant to lose with korman aces, but what can I do? I hope tomorrow this streak of failures will pass. Good luck at the tables!)

Once I had AA early in live tournament, opponent had 76 off. He 5-bet all in. I called immediately. He won with two pairs. I have been throwing up all night long.

This week alone, I lost 3 all ins with AA.rsrs.
What did I do! I drank some juice, walked around the house and went back to the game, because life goes on.
The game is like that, sometimes it will be good and sometimes it will be bad.
I think we have to be patient when it goes bad, so that we don't spend more than we planned for that day, or to pay for the reentry of the tournaments.

Strength, peace and luck at the tables

I’ve lost with AA & KK many many many times
It feels like it happens far to often but I guess if you put it into perspective, the amount of hands you play per day for example then I guess it’s just a small percentage

A little surprised by this thread

Saw the title. I laughed. Here’s another “poker is rigged, bullshit” thread because my aces got snapped.

And I’m surprised by what appears to be common sense. That it’s part of the game and it happens and lets get em next time.

Usually these are whine fests with amateurs playing 2 cent blinds who know exactly how the sites work and why they’re crooked and how they’ll continue to play even though they know it’s a rigged game.

Good to see. Some of you are learning. That’s encouraging.

hi buddy, that's so bad. I also faced several bad beats in one of latest unlucky days a while ago. Certainly losing money is hurt but what's worse is losing with monsters, preflop or even flop absolute favourite cards end up cracked on the riverr by backdoor straights, flushes etc. After all you can't do anything but forget and maintain your game at best possible version. Otherwise, you'll keep lose more.. I wish you good luck too, my friend!

Yes it was. that AA has lost three times at the final tables of the tournament. It happens sometimes, but AA doesn't always win.

I think it all depends on the conditions in which we are in the game.

What do you do to change mind if you lost at all-in with AA?

I drink beer to forget it.

Pray that God will forgive you.

thing is poker hands are not invincible pre flop they just have a higher percentage of winning, whenever i play i try my very best not to go all in preflop, but if i must based on my observance of the board over a period of time and if my cards are live i will call

I too have lost with AA

While being the best preflop hand, that does not mean that you can’t lose. You will win majority of the time and it’s a good play and pretty much all of us would have done it but you still have to hope they don’t get lucky. I forgot that math but I think AA vs KK wins like 85% of the time.

I am not going to play everything with a pair of A because for me it is a very loser the times I play I lose but if I have a pair of K I risk everything since the K is to come out more at the tables !!!

There's pretty much nothing you can do right there. You got them in good and he just got super lucky. I can't imagine what he could have been thinking when he made that move. Maybe just trying to bully you with his stack. It's hard to get much luckier than he did. Its possible. But it's hard.
