He has (had) ~2M stack.

Think he fell asleep / passed out after ~10 hrs of playing ?

Satisfied with $7K .. and sick of playing ???

Another thing, maybe a hard drive / computer crash.

If so, would seem he had no backup, wonder if other high stakes players do.

I was playing in stars one day when the US was allowed in a 10k gtd 1$ buyin .Were at the final table with 7 left as mentioned above I had a stack with about 2 mill.A storm rolls in and knocks the power out to the neighborhood and dosn't come back on for 45 minutes Seems like it took the computer forever to boot back up and when I finally get stars back up I'm allin in the big blind and have a 7-3 offsuit. I go out with 6 people left.I'm sure I not the only one this has happened to but I can imagine that the Sunday mill would hurt much worse than a measly 10k game lol.

I got nowhere as far as gourmetkung did in my $11 tourney today, no computer or sleep excuses

Lol, I sorta know (1/1,000,000) how he (might) have felt.

Just playing a $0.02 sng now, and my connection barfed when I had KK, auto-folded

In another forum, someone mentioned I could have hovered my mouse over his icon to check his connection, I never thought of that.

Probably he is having an internet connection problem or maybe he just fell asleep in front of the computer.Anything can happen after 10 hours of continuous playing.

I know that a lot of online players who play for a living/seriously have safeties in place for occurrences like this. Most of them have a backup power supply connected directly to their computer that's good for 1-3 hours if power is out. I also know that a lot of them will have dual internet connections in their homes with programs that switch over to the backup after a fail within a few seconds. Some even have 3 backups; 2 hard wires and a mobile Internet stick if power gets knocked out.

Btw last night i played 0.55 hot from my mobile while in job(night shift) was place 55th when my operator cut me.... I was pissed,i hope he didnt have such problems in this tourney tho...

I have seen similar play many times, although in lesser tournaments.

Sometimes it could be connection trouble but often they are scared of doing something daft and so sit-out to prevent themselves from doing so, only popping back in with monsters e.g. AA or KK.

Still, from memory, 2Mill is very short stacked to be doing that in the Sunday Million.
