Go C9!!!

Asked this before, no one answered though :( .........

I am rolled for 20 BIs for 50nl after another awesome day at 25nl...What are the suggestions for BIs to move into 50nl comfortably at my skill level????

With all due respect... I say go for it.:D

Take shots when you see a really juicy table at 50NL. So if there's like a 60% seen flops table with large average pots, and full stacked players, go ahead & sit.

You really shouldn't just overnight become a 50NL player. You should mix in a few of the best 50NL tables, and just get used to it. I still play some 50NL tables when 100NL is dry.

Actually I just had a thought. We've had some great videos from CC members about all different types of limits/plays/etc etc. The majority of our videos have been from really great players as instructional videos showing how they play and there thought processes. What about a video from someone who is actually struggling to cope with variance, the limit there playing, self confidence, mindset etc etc. I'm sure there's a lot of players who suffer this at some point in their play but actually a video of someone who is struggling rather than someone who is on a heater or whatever, may be more educational with the right discussion and post video analysis.

Any thoughts?

I could probably do this at 200NL. I still get killed there a lot and suffer from super FPS.

Here's what I think for buyins for levels:

10nl/25nl : 20 buyins
50nl : Move up at 30 buyins, move down at 20
100nl: Move up at 35 buyins, move down at 25
200nl: Move up at 40 buyins, move down at 30
400nl: Move up at 3 buyins, move down at 0

You are just copying Vanq.

Getting tilted players from the stud 8 table to play NLHE heads up cash with you is so +EV.

This is obviously a value bet ;)

Ultimate Bet, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 2 Players

BB: $128.35 (128.4 bb)
Hero (SB): $350.80 (350.8 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is SB with 4 6
Hero raises to $3, BB calls $2

Flop: ($6) 5 4♠ 7 (2 players)
BB bets $3, Hero calls $3

Turn: ($12) A♠ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $8, BB calls $8

River: ($28) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $22.50, BB calls $22.50

Results: $73 pot ($0.50 rake)
Hero showed 4 6 (a pair of Fours) and won $72.50 ($36 net)
BB showed K 9 (high card Ace) and lost (-$36.50 net)

I've done this a few times and i always pause for a min after and admire my cat like reflexes, i've knocked a can of coke off the table and caught it with my feet before, didn't spill a drop on my mums new and quite expensive carpet :D I like held it there in awe for about 5 mins after to fully revel in my ninja catching skillz

Yeah, pantin better than being down the initial 2 buy ins huh.
I just always feel worse after I was up a lot and end up slightly up or breakeven. Then when I just lose a lot full stop.

Meh results orientated..

Don't worry about it. Moving down is a major skill required to be able to move up.
